Jesus Showed Up For Us and Now it’s Time to Show Up For Each Other!
Just showing up makes all the difference! Think about it—aren’t you glad Jesus showed up? He showed up in Bethlehem, humbling Himself to be born as one of us. He showed up at Calvary, carrying the weight of our sins to the cross. He showed up at the Empty Tomb, conquering death and giving us eternal hope. And He continues to show up even now—right in the middle of our fears, our struggles, our prayers, and our everyday moments. One day, He’ll show up again in all His glory, just as He promised!
But until then, it’s our turn. Jesus calls us to be His hands and feet, to be His presence in a world that is desperate for love, hope, and encouragement. Will you show up for others? Sometimes it doesn’t take a grand gesture—just being there, listening, praying, lending a helping hand, or offering a smile can refresh someone’s weary soul.
Think about how Jesus showed up for Mary Magdalene when no one else would, how He stopped for Zacchaeus when others only looked down on him, how He met the woman at the well when society had cast her aside. Time and time again, Jesus showed up for the broken, the forgotten, and the lost—and He still shows up for you and me every single day.
So, how can we honor Him? By following His example. By choosing to be present in someone else’s story. By stepping into those moments where our presence might be the very reminder someone needs that God has not forgotten them.
Until His glorious return, let us commit to showing up in the lives of those around us. Who in your life needs you to show up today—with kindness, with encouragement, with the love of Christ?
