But transition doesn’t mean the end of goodness—it’s simply a shift in how God shows up in our lives.
Ecclesiastes 3:1–11 reminds us that there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. Just as the leaves prepare to change, our lives move through purposeful cycles designed by a loving Creator. Within that rhythmic divine design, there is a dedicated time for laughter! Solomon writes in Proverbs 17:22, “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” God never intended for us to live trapped in regret over what has passed or anxious about what lies ahead. Instead, He calls us to embrace the beauty of this moment.
Finding delight in a new season doesn’t mean ignoring the natural sadness of saying goodbye to the last one. It means trusting that the same God who filled your summer with laughter is already preparing blessings for your autumn. Joy isn’t tied to the temperature outside, a calendar date, or a fleeting vacation; it is rooted in the constant presence of God.
Remember that it is God’s divine design that we find joy in each moment and season of our lives—the ones that are passing and the ones that are ahead of us.
As you turn the page into this next chapter, lean into the light He provides today. Look for the simple graces: the crisp morning air, shared family meals around a table, or a quiet moment of prayer as the day ends.
I pray that you have true Joy in your life today… the Joy that only comes through Jesus Christ! He will fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy (Job 8:21). May your heart be lifted, your spirit renewed, and your days filled with the peace that comes from walking with Him.
God bless you, my friend!
