GRATEFUL TO HAVE CAPACITY TO BE THANKFUL!!

Our Lord Jesus enables us to know and appreciate THANKSGIVING!!

We are made in His Image – and we therefore have the capacity to understand and appreciate the Goodness that HE gives us!  HE meets our NEEDS!  HE Fills us with purpose, peace and joy.  HE gives us feelings, attitudes and a disposition to like or dislike things.  But the characteristic of THANKSGIVING COMES OUT OF GENUINE NEED OF HIS LOVE AND GRACE.  To know HIS provision is so awesome, we should naturally be Thankful.  And I guess most of the time we are… but we also have the tendency to ‘take His blessings’ for granted like we do our other loved ones and friends.  When that happens – that is so sad, for we miss out on THANKSGIVING and the perspecitve of Gratitude.

Jesus was always appreciative of The Father and the Holy Spirit.  The Father was always positive about His Son and the Holy Spirit. And, The Holy Spirit always pointed people to the Father and the Son!  The 3 in 1 always had a positive, grateful and thankful spirit of the Godhead.

Wow!  I pray therefore that we would be ONE WITH GOD as we are grateful, thankful and appreciative of HIM, OUR FAMILY AND OUR FRIENDS.

GOD can help us in being THANKFUL by bringing to our remembrance all of the blessings that have been afforded us in and through faith, family and friends.

May we pause – and count our blessings – naming them one by one!

YES, I’M THANKFUL TO BE THANKFUL.
