Dear faithful friends and supporters,
The weather is changing, and springtime is in the air! Aren’t we glad to have some beautiful, warm days to enjoy God’s creation and marvel at HIS presence in all things? It reminds me that even as the dreariness of winter fades away, the temperature rises, the days get longer, the trees and the flowers began to come alive again with color, our purpose in Christ Jesus can be renewed and refreshed as well.
Have you ever wondered what your purpose really is? Jesus answers that question in His final words on earth—“Go, therefore.” These weren’t just instructions for a select few but a calling for all believers. Jesus invited His followers to be part of something bigger than themselves, a movement of hope, truth, and transformation that continues today. He didn’t ask them to wait until the weather was better, the season had changed, or they were read — He simply asked them to go and promised to go with them.
Where and what is God calling you to do today? We may not be able to go across the world, but we can enable others to share the gospel to many. That is what you are doing for us here at Swanberg Ministries. You are helping me to take the gospel message to so many as I travel and encourage others even in these days.
As we step into the coming months, I have many opportunities to take Jesus to others because of your support. Here are a few of the pivotal events that I will be blessed to be a part of in these days:
Poiema Foundation – A Dallas-area organization focused on human trafficking prevention and survivor care and safe housing for those recovering.
Rock Church Prison Ministry – Reaching into the lives of those behind prison walls through monthly outreach ministry events that cultivate opportunities for men and women to hear the gospel message of Jesus Christ.
Fathers in the Field – A intensive program for boys who have been abandoned by their fathers; mentoring them one-on-one in life skills through outdoor activities, and by sharing a Christian understanding of our Heavenly Father’s love and sacrifice for His children.
Swamp Angel Ministries – A non-profit organization that provides ministry and support services for retired ministers and their spouses.
New Life Pregnancy Center – Providing hope and care to those facing a planned or unplanned pregnancy and strengthening families through Christ-centered ministries.
Buckner Retirement Services – A senior community that offered dignified living and expert care and promotes a healthy lifestyle and encourages fun filled evenings for residences.
Cleghorn Music Ministries – Retreat setting for spiritual renewal through music, preaching and encouragement.
There are many more events at churches, conventions, and concerts that open the door for me share Jesus on every platform I stand upon. And, because of your faithful gifts, I can go many places like the ones above and bring this life-changing message to a lost world.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity. Thank you for your continuing support. This calling has been a lifelong journey guided by His Spirit. AND, because of faithful friends like you, YOU GO WITH ME…and thank you for saying “YES” to Swanberg Ministries.
We are eternally grateful for your continued gifts and support.
Have a blessed spring and summer!
Gratefully,
Dennis Swanberg
